If you're a Bimmer fan and want to know all about the Company's detailed product development cycle or, alternatively a current/imminent Z4 owner, then this is absolutely for you!
The details and content are fantastic and you will completely understand the philosophy behind the car, the challenging technical decisions and compromises and ultimately the whole spirit of the beast.
So, a "Must Buy" if you fall into these categories as I do, but probably not a book for the casual fan - a little expensive and (obviously) niche in appeal.

An in depth look at the way BMW creates the teams to produce their next new car. Interesting interviews with the body and interior designers and production teams. Very informative and a wonderful resource if you own this exciting Z4.

Beautiful and informative book for Z4 owners

I love the background on design of the Z4 and the pictures used to support the text are wonderful. This book was written just before or after the premier of the Z4 in 2003, so it's somewhat dated. No info at all on the changes to made to the Z4 after 2005 or the MZ. It's not a repair manual but has good info on what you can expect for performance of the car and it's major systems. I would buy the book again.
